This morning, I felt like experimenting with making a single steamed bun for breakfast. I just so happened to have a perfectly ripe banana lying around so I also threw that in, and it turned into a sort of banana-raisin steamed cupcake. So easy — and super tasty!
Here are the ingredients:
- 2 heaping tbsp whole wheat flour
- 1/2 tsp agave
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- pinch of salt
- 1 heaping tbsp ripe banana
I just mixed it all together lightly and steamed it for about 15-20 minutes. I also imagine a bit of cinnamon, nutmeg, or walnuts might make a great addition.
