Rhubarb Applesauce from my Garden

It’s about time for some photos of what’s been going on the yard lately! Plus, here’s the rhubarb applesauce that I made using homegrown transparent apples, rhubarb and blackberries. This was the first time I tried this combination but it came out wonderfully =)

These are wild strawberries from Japan. They don’t grow very big, but are incredibly soft and sweet! …a whole different fruit from the grocery store variety here in Canada.

  1. What a lovely garden you have! Love the photo of the ladybug. I don’t have room for a garden where I live. Outdoor space is one of the things you have to do without in SoCal. Celeste 🙂

    1. Thanks! Yeah, I spend most of my time living in the city for university, but I always look forward to coming back home and unwinding in the garden. …it’s so peaceful 🙂 There’s nothing like it.
